The work presented at this exhibition consisted of a series of color photographic prints, toned and overexposed, of the walls of a stone quarry assembled in succession, as if in a slow pan, to suggest the slow rhythm of observation and lead to the discovery of other worlds, those of the different scales of visual and mental investigation arising out of the examination of the strata in a fault. These photographs suggest not just diagnoses or age-old histories, but also universes, imaginary maps of micro- or macroscopic entities that, when you look at them carefully, are universal dictionaries, allegories of worlds to explore with the mind and illustrate with the imagination.
