Bocca della verità Square, Rome, 2018
Conceived and designed for Bocca della Verità square in Rome, this installation was not (yet?) realized. The proposal was for a giant ‘Archipensiero’ placed, as a third temple, in a sequence which includes the Temple of Portuno, that dates back to the republican Rome, and the Temple of Ercole Vincitore. By looking at the three temples together, the seemingly disharmonious and disarticulated forms of the ‘Archipensiero’ help the viewer to understand the evolution of classicism until its most contemporary interpretation.
