While it may refer conceptually to works of the seventies like Tumbleweeds Catcher or Clay House, this work, a larger installation occupying the whole space of the gallery, falls within a sphere of greater completeness, using natural materials (branches and dry leaves) to cover and at the same time give shape to a structure that could as well be a piece of city as a forest. The material is predominant here, and “becomes” architecture. It is a piece of city, or a ghost of it, where nature turns into architecture, or a work of architecture structures itself, describes itself with natural materials.  Or it is nature that “recovers” on the structure a now lost quality of expression and communication.
