ARCHITHOUGHTS 4

Gallery Enrico Fornello, Prato, 2009

Another “archithought,” this time made of wire mesh, formed out of five elements that are assembled and disassembled each time into the perception of an archetypal form, combined with elements of vegetation that run through them, firmly anchored to the ground at their base. Positioned inside the gallery in such a way as to privilege the view of the plants rather than the possibility of a multiple perception of the space, this work seems to want to metaphorically stress the conviction that there are no longer any boundaries, in the attentive exploration of themes relating to physical space, between architecture and environmental art, and indeed that the road of environmental art is the only possible architecture.
